Oakwood Premier Melbourne

I liked the breakfast buffet , a variety of food and I loved the hot chocolate! The view from our room was fantastic, especially at night, where the city was light up. Oakwood Premier Melbourne has very good security, but you could still move freely around. Definitely recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a safe, beautiful and clean hotel in Melbourne.

First and foremost, the staff is friendly, courteous and very professional. The location was excellent. I think, personally being in the Southbank neighborhood allows easy excess to all the most important travel and tourist areas. The DFO is another plus since it, too, can provide you with a lot of other needed services (clothing, dry cleaning services, nail salon, hair salon, pharmacy and, of course, food court and small grocery store). And then right out side the doors of the DFO are all types of restaurants and connection onto a promenade that leads to the casino and a host of other restaurants, or connections to the CBD and trams.

We enjoyed the breakfast, the view of the port on the SW side or of the city on the NE side, the Oakwood hour, the comfort of the apartment, the cleanliness throughout, the 25 minute walk to Port Melbourne Beach, and the 10 minute walk to the promenade along the Yarra River. However, what impressed us the most was the entire staff.. They were engaging, professional, welcoming, and very helpful. These are well trained individuals who understand the importance of customer satisfaction. We were satisfied. Bravo!

Breakfast was lovely a lot of variety.good service by the restaurant staff.

Location is great. Walking distance to South Wharf DFO and entertainment precinct. Nice walk along river to crown casino, restaurants and bars. Short walk to access trams to Docklands or Flinders street. Rooms very spacious with a great view of city. Well equipped, nice and clean Beds are comfortable too. Games room is good fun too if the weather is a bad or your just not up for heading out. It has table tennis table, snooker/pool table, air hockey table, TV and arcade games. Also has fully equipped gym. There is also a rooftop bar on Level 40. Wasn't opened when we went to check it out but can imagine the views.
